I’d like to introduce you to someone…

I want to introduce you to someone. A few someones, actually. These are the ladies of The Free Mama team, and it’s definitely time for you to get to know them.

The thing is, these ladies had never even heard of freelancing a year ago. When we met, they were just like you: they wanted a way to be at home with their kids, but they didn’t know how to make that happen.

They were afraid of investing in themselves.

They were skeptical that they had the kind of skills anyone would pay for.

And they all faced challenges and obstacles — just like you.

Mia was caring for a sick child, and her husband was about to be deployed overseas. She looked at The Free Mama Movement and thought, Is this too good to be true?

She was juggling her full-time job and parenting her son. She didn’t have the PTO she needed to care for her son properly, and there were easily a dozen reasons why she couldn’t add “start a business” to her plate.

But she did it. She took that leap of faith and invested in herself. Within just a few months, Mia walked away from her 9-5, replaced her income completely, and today she rocks it out in social media management — even though she had no previous experience when she started out. Today, she runs Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube for the Free Mama and other clients.

Jordan, my right-hand gal, had already left her job when we met. But she was struggling, and she needed to start bringing in income in order to avoid going back to the 9-5 that had stressed her out and taken over her life in an unhealthy way.

Discovering the Free Mama Movement changed her perspective of what a working mom’s life should look like. The entire concept of having it all — not sacrificing family or finances — excited Jordan, and she leapt into this world with both feet.

Today, she’s all about client care for Mamas in the program — maybe she’s helped you retrieve a lost password or find a login page? — and email management, plus she’s a spreadsheet NINJA (seriously, the girl makes numbers bend to her will), so she’s an amazing business manager, too.

Erin was a SAHM who was just starting to think about contributing to her family’s finances when she learned about The Free Mama Movement. She’d been scammed before, so she approached the program with a healthy amount of skepticism.

In fact, she decided she’d test the waters with the Quick Start program — that way, if things seemed a little iffy, she could cut her losses and move on.

Well, Erin did move on — she upgraded to the complete 12-week program within a few days and proved to herself and her husband that the money was well spent. Over the next few months, Erin built up her education even further — she graduated from TFFM and Kathryn Jones’ CF Design School — and started offering sales funnel design services to clients.

She’s also done an amazing job on the redesign of The Free Mama website — plus she designs all of our Free Mama swag.

Kyra is a new team member, but she’s an OG graduate of the TFFM.

She says her journey was slow and steady — it took her some time to take in all the knowledge and figure out exactly how she could use it to serve clients.

Growing and evolving doesn’t always happen on a schedule, and Kyra ran into her share of disappointments and challenges along the way. But she stuck it out, through the late nights and early mornings, and now she’s heading up outreach and PR so that we can help other mamas discover that they really can have it all.

Meagan is a driven mama who is passionate about accounting — but everything changed once she had a baby.

Fortunately, just as Meagan was about to lose her mind, she discovered that she didn’t have to choose between the two — she could be with her baby and contribute to the family finances as a Free Mama.

She raced through the program, and within just two months, she had an anchor client and a couple of smaller projects that allowed her to leave the 9-5 behind. And two months after that, she had completely replaced her income while working half the hours. She’s rocking out bookkeeping for The Free Mama, which makes this mama very grateful.

There’s one other mama I’ve been working with — in fact, she was the very first freelancer I hired to help me out. Her name is Abbi, and you may have seen her around the Facebook group.

Abbi has been a freelancer for even longer than I have — she’s been a freelance writer for most of the last 20 years. She started back before there were online courses that showed you how to do everything the right way, so, according to her, she made a lot of mistakes in her early days.

It took her years to figure out the business side of freelancing, but once she did, she was all in. By specializing in email sequences and sales pages, Abbi’s been able to rock out her income goals and hand-select her clients. And she’s also started teaching other mamas to do what she does and specialize in writing.

One of the most exciting moments of my life was getting to hang out with four of these incredible women at the recent Free Mama meetup in Salt Lake City over the weekend.

Meet Team Mama, moms who wanted to make money from home while being with their kids, no experience in freelancing and are now moms making money from home!

We tacked on an extra day to sit down together and work out some of the business strategy we’ll be implementing to make sure that you have the best, most actionable information at your fingertips as you navigate your own Free Mama journey.

No matter where you’re starting, you can get to where you want to go. It might take longer than you think — or longer than you see it take for others — but you can get there with consistent action.

When I started The Free Mama Movement, I did everything by myself. I knew I wanted a team, eventually, but I could never have imagined the amazing women I’d be working with just a year later.

Bringing these mamas onto the team lets me serve more mamas (without running myself into the ground) — and it’s given me the chance to hire some of the very first people who believed in me and what The Free Mama Movement is all about.

I believe in you, Mama, because I’ve seen this happen for women just like you.

Are you ready to believe in yourself?

P.S. If you have questions about the 12-Week Program, you’re not alone! Search the Facebook group, and you’ll find plenty of mamas asking and answering everything you could possibly want to know.
